Introduction to TANGENT..

TANGENT have been making the key components of the earlier Multiplex Contest Line models for many years and in 2005 took over the exclusive rights to the range. TANGENT have sought to further improve the models through a number innovative new manufacturing techniques designed to reduce weight, increase structural integrity and improve overall performance characteristics of the models.
TANGENT quality is second to none - the models are designed and tested by a team of highly enthusiastic aero-modellers, with a real passion for model flying. The new range of TANGENT Contest Line models are built according to three discreet levels - each employing appropriate techniques designed to achieve optimal performance from the individual model and for the intended application.

	Carbon Thermic Edition - for general sport flying. These models achieve an excellent balance between rigidity and weight. The main spars are reinforced with Carbon, both top and bottom, all the way to the tips.
	Carbon Master Edition - for the more demanding model pilot and for larger models exhibiting higher flight loads. In addition to Carbon reinforced main spars, the D-box is also clad in Carbon which is laid down at +/- 45⁰ angles for optimum performance in both tension and compression.
	Full Carbon TEC Edition - the no compromise solution when only the best is good enough! In additioon to Carbon reinforced spars, the entire wing is reinforced with Carbon cloth which is laid down at +/- 45⁰ angles for optimum performance in both tension and compression.

All Contest Line models are manufactured entirely in Germany. The fuselages are of high quality GRP and Carbon reinforced where nessesary. Wing joiner tubes are are pre-installed and wing servo wells are machined ready to accept your choice of servo equipment. All wings and tail-plane components are supplied finished to a very high standard and are comparable with the best of the all-moulded type. A full complement of high quality hardware is provided to complete the model.
Elastic Flap Technology - all of the new TANGENT Contest Line models (except DG-600 Evo Carbon Master Edition) incorporate a fantastic new live hinge system built into the wings and tail-plane during manufacture to ensure ultimate strength and precision and minimum drag.
No time for covering - All of the 2006 range from TANGENT are available both Almost Ready to Cover (ARC) and pre-covered in a selection of colours (ARF)
